SPS Global School – Standards of Student Behavior

At SPS Global School, students are expected to conduct themselves as responsible citizens, respecting the rights of others and contributing to a positive school culture. These standards are in place to ensure a safe, disciplined, and supportive environment for all learners.

Core Principles of Student Conduct

  • All students must demonstrate respect for teachers, staff, fellow students, and school visitors at all times.

  • Proper and courteous language must be used in all interactions. The use of profane, vulgar, or abusive language is strictly prohibited.

  • Students are expected to adhere to school rules, classroom expectations, and all lawful codes of conduct.

Academic & Personal Responsibility

  • Students must attend school and all classes regularly and on time, prepared with necessary materials.

  • A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required to participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

  • Students should demonstrate academic integrity and avoid cheating or plagiarism.

  • Respectful behavior contributes to individual achievement and a healthy learning environment.

Campus Conduct

  • A valid student ID card must be carried at all times and shown upon request.

  • When outside the classroom during instructional time, students must have an authorized hall pass or note.

  • Horseplay, roughhousing, or any disruptive behavior is not tolerated.

  • Students should keep the campus clean and safe, avoiding littering, graffiti, or vandalism.

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly banned on school premises:

  • Weapons (of any kind)

  • Alcohol, tobacco, and drugs

  • Cigarettes, matches, or lighters

  • Gambling items, squirt guns, or water balloons

  • Electronic game devices or music players

  • Objects that promote violence, profanity, or hate speech

Any item deemed a safety threat or disruption to the learning environment will be confiscated and may lead to disciplinary action.

Dress Code Guidelines

  • Clothing must be clean, modest, and appropriate for a school setting.

  • Revealing clothing, including short skirts or shorts and exposed undergarments, is not permitted.

  • Clothing or accessories with references to violence, drugs, alcohol, profanity, or offensive content are not allowed.

  • Gang-related attire, oversized clothing, long belts, chains, spikes, or hairnets are prohibited.

  • Only SPS Global School caps are permitted—no other baseball-style caps.

  • Students must wear proper footwear, and helmets are required by law when using bikes or skateboards.

Use of Bicycles and Personal Transport

  • Bicycles must be parked in designated areas; the school is not responsible for theft or damage.

  • Skateboards, roller skates, or scooters are not to be used on campus.

Student Expectations

SPS Global School students are expected to:

  • Resolve conflicts peacefully with the help of counselors, teachers, or student advisors.

  • Be honest, cooperative, and accountable for their actions.

  • Promote a bully-free and harassment-free school community.

  • Participate actively in learning opportunities and school life.

Consequences for Misconduct

Failure to comply with the school’s behavior standards may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to:

  • Warnings or counseling

  • Detention or loss of privileges

  • Suspension or transfer

Discipline will be guided by the school’s Progressive Discipline Policy, aiming to correct behavior and help students grow into responsible individuals.
