GENERAL RULES

We Enter to Learn, Leave to Achieve

At SPS Global School, we are committed to fostering an environment of discipline, respect, and holistic growth. To ensure the smooth functioning of the school and the overall well-being of our students, we request all parents and guardians to adhere to the following rules and guidelines:

Parent Interaction & Communication

  • Parents are not permitted to enter classrooms or meet teachers during school hours without prior approval.

  • Any change in address, contact numbers, or other important information must be promptly reported to the school office.

  • Parents can meet the Principal or teachers on designated days with a prior appointment.

  • All communication from parents/guardians should be addressed to the Class Teacher, clearly stating the student’s name, admission number, class, and section.

  • Criticism of the school or teachers in the presence of children must be avoided as it can negatively impact the child’s respect for authority and academic progress.

Health, Safety & Attendance

  • Students who are unwell should not attend school. The institution is not responsible for any claims arising from illness or accidents in such cases.

  • It is compulsory for all students to attend school on the first and last day of each semester or vacation. Absenteeism on these days will lead to strict disciplinary action.

  • Students must attend all assessments as there will be no re-assessments in case of absence.

Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs)

  • Parents are expected to attend PTMs regularly. Prior intimation is required in case of absence.

  • A respectful code of conduct and punctuality must be maintained during these meetings.

School Property & Discipline

  • Students must respect school property. Any damage caused will be compensated by the student along with a fine.

  • Unfair means during examinations will lead to strict disciplinary action.

  • Junk food is discouraged. Parents must ensure that their children bring only nutritious food for tiffin.

Uniform & Personal Conduct

  • All belongings (uniform, bags, shoes, etc.) must be clearly labeled with the student’s name, class, section, and admission number.

  • Wearing of earrings (for boys), nail polish, mehendi, and tattoos is strictly prohibited. Girls may wear only small studs or rings.

  • Birthday celebrations in school must be simple—students may distribute only two toffees (e.g., eclairs) per student. No gifts, cakes, or return gifts are allowed for teachers or staff.

School Visits & Escorts

  • Parents must personally drop and receive their wards at bus stops and carry the Escort Card at all times.

  • Damaged or lost Escort Cards must be replaced with a new one upon submission of a written application, photo(s), and a fee of Rs. 50 per card.

  • Escort Cards are mandatory for attending any school function.

Responsibility & Items from Home

  • The school does not take responsibility for the collection or distribution of lunch packets or personal belongings. In emergencies, contact the school office directly.

  • Poly bags are strictly banned. Do not send any articles (tiffin, stationery, crafts, etc.) to school in plastic bags.

  • All educational outings, tours, and picnics are optional. By sending your ward, it is assumed that you have given your consent. The school is not liable for any mishap during such events.

General Reminders

  • Parents must refer to the school calendar, circulars, and notices before calling the school with inquiries.

  • Cooperation from parents is essential for monitoring their ward’s attendance, punctuality, discipline, and academic progress.

  • Parents are advised to check the school almanac daily for important updates and notices.

  • Avoid contacting teachers or coordinators via phone. They can be met in person during official visiting hours only.

We seek your full cooperation in helping us provide a safe, respectful, and progressive learning environment for every child.
